DID YOU KNOW...

Marc Coleman is a multi-award-winning working-class comedy director from Dagenham.

But before he was a big time director, he started out as an actor working in improv and immersive theatre. Whilst never really being able to sit still, he taught himself how to write, produce, direct and edit his own comedy sketches and films as a way of sharing his style, tone and skill for comedy
with the industry.

This led to him winning an Empire Award in 2016 for a twenty quid remake of the Tom Hardy film ‘Legend’ except he replaced the Kray Twins with the Chuckle Brothers, played by Marc himself. The film was screened in front of a star-studded audience including Hollywood royalty Matt Damon. Can you imagine big Matts face, gazing up at a gigantic cinema screen as Marc slid a pair of homemade gold plated ‘TO ME, TO YOU’ knuckle dusters onto his fists whilst donning a dodgy latex nose?
Proper nutty night.

Since then, he’s moved into feature films. His first, ‘ManFish’, a comedy between a down-trodden lonely man who has sexual relations with a humanoid sea creature won a bunch of awards on the festival circuit.
His second film, ‘Members Club’ stars Perry Benson, Steve Oram, Juliet Cowan, David Schaal, Alan Ford, Peter Andre and was branded “Weirdly Watchable” by The Guardian.

In between directing his own comedy projects, raising two small children (three if he includes himself) and still holding the title of ‘Matt Damon’s favourite Chuckle Brother’, you’ll find him directing the new up and coming comedy talent of tomorrow.

Look at that chair. Marc could easily be sat in it, shouting his demands but he isn’t cause he’s bloody good at his job and it was a prop chair that couldn’t be sat in.

Right… Sizzle Reel above, Narrative Reel here, wordy blurb, semi decent picture of Marc on set…
I think that’s pretty much everything for now.
